Catalysts used for hydrogenation generally need to be pre-sulfided before use. How should the sulfurizing oil used for pre-sulfiding be treated? Is the sulfur content high in the vulcanized oil?
Store it in tanks designated for substandard materials first, and then gradually mix it into the raw materials. The level of organic sulfur will only decrease, not increase; inorganic sulfur has no impact. What needs attention during storage is that some hydrogen sulfide will dissolve in this oil, and everyone is aware of what hydrogen sulfide is.
Don’t you use hydrogen sulfide, sulfur-producing exhaust gases, or acidic gas recovery gases for pre-sulfidization?
The presulfided oil we use is atmospheric-pressure direct-current diesel; after sulfidization, it has a sulfur content of around 700PPM and is quite dirty. Generally, the contaminated oil is recovered for later incorporation into crude oil for reprocessing
