Energy consumption issue in flushing gasoline hydrogenation filters

Dear experts, how often do you flush your gasoline hydrogenation filters, and what medium do you use? What is the ratio of crude oil to contaminated oil? I hope you can kindly offer your advice!
Generally, it is flushed when the differential pressure reaches a certain level; there is no fixed time for this, as it depends on the quality of the raw material.
We wash it every two hours; I heard that some companies can do it every 6 hours, so I came to ask!
It mainly depends on the quality of the raw materials; if there is an intermediate storage tank area, the residence time of the feed in that tank can be increased to see if there is any improvement.
If the quality of the oil is good, it’s not impossible to achieve this in around 10 hours; factors such as impurities in the raw materials also play a role, and when the oil is supplied from storage tanks, the cleanliness of those tanks must also be taken into account.
Twice an hour is way too frequent, isn’t it?

As a result, in recent years some companies, especially those involved in crude oil processing, have gradually replaced automatic backwashing with filter element-based filtration systems, and the results have been very good.
