Are the installation steps for plate heat exchangers the same as those for shell and tube heat exchangers?

The operating procedures need to be established based on the requirements of your equipment’s operation process as well as the working conditions of the cooler. For example, with oil coolers, oil is introduced first; this is to prevent water from entering the oil if water is introduced first, as the water would then fail to provide lubrication, and accidents could occur in severe cases. As for these two heat exchangers, they can generally be treated as equivalent.
