As the title suggests, bg2.png: Where does the condensate from the liquid separation tank located before the recycle hydrogen compressor in hydrogen processing units go? Is the condensate oil or a solvent?
It is a solvent, returning to the rich liquid tank.
The desulfurization tower is equipped with amine solution, and the gas is naturally sent to the amine solution flash tank
For example, foaming of the amine solution in the circulating hydrogen desulfurization tower can cause liquid – namely amine solution – to enter the liquid separation tank before the compressor. Our process design calls for this liquid to be sent to an underground solvent tank, from where it is then pumped to the solvent regeneration unit for reuse.
There is an amine-depleted flash tank with circulating hydrogen desulfurization; those without it have a cold low-boiling fractionator
