Furthermore, to develop a hydrogen-powered transportation system, hydrogen refueling stations will be installed in cities or nearby integrated transfer centers, parking lots, and bus depots. By December of this year, three hydrogen pilot cities will be identified, with each city covering an area of 3 to 10 square kilometers, where hydrogen technology will be introduced and adopted in residential and transportation areas. By 2040, it is planned that 40% of cities across the country will become hydrogen cities, with a total of 825,000 hydrogen-powered vehicles and 12,000 hydrogen-powered buses in operation.
