Official website: http://www.new-unity.cn/ It is a processing method developed independently by Shanghai Junming Chemical Engineering Design Co., Ltd., used for the production of petroleum products and chemical substances from low-quality heavy oil and coal; it is referred to hereafter as NUCUU®. The NUCUU® technology utilizes low-quality heavy oil and coal to produce high-quality light oils, olefins, aromatic products, as well as clean coal. It integrates suspended-bed hydrothermal cracking, fluidized-bed hydrocracking, fixed-bed hydrogenation, and catalytic cracking in a coordinated manner, taking full advantage of the strengths of each process to achieve synergistic effects. By utilizing coal in a safe and clean manner, it is possible to make the most of low-quality heavy oil; at the same time, it helps to extend the operational life of coal co-processing units, improve product quality and yield, thus enabling true clean coal co-processing. Advantages of NUCUU® technology: ● It organically combines coal and low-quality heavy oil; through coal-oil co-processing technology, it produces both oil products and chemical products, while also generating clean coal. This approach effectively reduces the complexity of the reaction process, **lowers energy consumption, and improves the economic efficiency of the entire project ; ● By combining with our company’s independently developed NUEUU® technology, it is possible to flexibly control the degree of hydrogenation; as a result, part of the low-quality heavy oil can be converted into high-quality hydrogen supply solvents for use in upstream kerosene co-refining reactions, while another part can be transformed into high-quality raw materials for downstream fixed-bed hydrogenation reactions aimed at producing gasoline, diesel, or chemicals ; ● Through the effective combination of processes such as suspended-bed hydrogenation, fluidized-bed hydrogenation, and fixed-bed hydrogenation, it is possible to ensure flexibility in the raw materials used while **increasing the yield of high-quality products, and to guarantee that the operational life of the entire plant exceeds 2 years** ; ● This technology uses coal as its raw material; it is in line with China’s basic energy structure and composition, while also fully complying with the energy industry policies aimed at the clean and efficient use of coal, as well as the targeted application of differentiated utilization methods based on the quality of coal ; ● The approach of using this technology to produce clean coal is forward-thinking, enabling the upgrading and integration of the industry, and it holds broad market prospects.
