We produce tire pyrolysis oil; if it is used as a feedstock for hydrogenation to produce gasoline and diesel, what ranges are appropriate for the chloride ion content and the olefin (diene) content?
They are all harmful components, so the levels should definitely be kept as low as possible. For conventional petrochemical applications, chloride ions are generally required to be below 5 PPM, ideally. Dienes tend to coking, so pre-hydrogenation at low temperatures can be carried out first
