What does \"analytical gas\" for PSA mean?

I have just started working with natural gas-based hydrogen production and know nothing about it. What does the desorption gas in PSA pressure swing adsorption mean? Is it the exhaust gas released last from the tower?

PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) is a technology used for gas separation. In the natural gas-to-hydrogen process, PSA is commonly used to extract and concentrate hydrogen from mixed gases. A desorbent is a gas used in the PSA process to desorb the adsorbed components from the adsorbent. In a PSA unit, the feed gas passes through an adsorption bed, where the adsorbent captures the target components, while the non-target components are washed out by the desorbing gas.
