On January 4, the 14,400 tons per year hydrogen production project of Junrui Green Hydrogen Energy (Chahar Right Wing Back Banner) Co., Ltd. in Chahar Right Wing Back Banner was approved for registration. The project is located in the New Materials Industrial Park of Chahar Right Wing Back Banner, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region – specifically in Chahar Right Wing Back Banner, Ulanqab City. The entity responsible for the project is Junrui Green Hydrogen Energy (Chahar Right Wing Back Banner) Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 974 million yuan. This project utilizes renewable energy-based water electrolysis technology to build a hydrogen production facility with an annual capacity of 14,400 tons. The main components of the project include: one new hydrogen production plant with an annual capacity of 14,400 tons, equipped with 56 x 1,000 Nm³/h alkaline electrolyzers and 14 x 2,000 m³ hydrogen storage tanks, as well as auxiliary facilities such as power distribution stations, demineralized water treatment systems, circulating cooling water systems, and hydrogen delivery systems. The total land area required for this project is 300 mu, with an equivalent annual operating time of 3,000 hours. Planned construction period: April 2026 to October 2027.
