The Coal Chemicals Department of Nanhua Company produced an average of 293.2 tons of hydrogen per day in February

According to Sinopec Nanhua Company, in February 2026, the average daily hydrogen production volume of the coal chemical division reached 293.2 tons, which is an increase of 0.52 tons per day compared to the previous record. That month, production exceeded the monthly target by 210.377 tons, generating profits of over 2.4 million yuan; these excellent production results marked a successful start to the new year. It is reported that from January to November 2025, the Coal Chemicals Department of Nanhua Company supplied over 36,000 tons of hydrogen to external parties in total. On October 29, the daily hydrogen production reached 302 tons. The hydrogen/synthetic ammonia production system of Sinopec Nanhua Company uses GE coal-water slurry gasification to produce 280,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia and 90,000 tons per year of hydrogen. Hydrogen is supplied to Yangzi Petrochemical and Jinling Petrochemical.
