We use sulfur as the raw material for producing sulfuric acid; after exhaust gas treatment, what remains is humid exhaust gas. The environmental protection agency has required us to install online particle monitoring systems. I consulted several manufacturers of instruments for measuring humid smoke and dust, and was told that such systems are generally installed in thermal power plants only. The price of such instruments ranges from 250,000 to 500,000 yuan per set. I would like to ask my peers in the sulfuric acid production industry: do you also install online particle monitoring systems for the exhaust gas (humid smoke) generated during sulfur-based sulfuric acid production?
