Expert, please explain to beginners: in acidic water stripping, which of H2S, CO2, and NH3 is stripped off first? At what tray levels is ammonia extraction typically carried out via the side line?

Carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia – the number of trays isn’t fixed; it varies depending on the stripping tower. Here, the numbers on the side streams were originally 17, 19, 21
Are there ammonia extraction units on floors 17, 19, and 21, as well as on the 3 side lines? Why use 3?

This needs to be considered in terms of acidity and water solubility. Acidic water is actually basic at first; that is, ammonia dissolves in water, and only then is hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide absorbed into this basic water. Since hydrogen sulfide is more acidic than carbon dioxide, during stripping, carbon dioxide is removed first, followed by hydrogen sulfide, and finally ammonia.
