I don’t think there’s much difference? Isn’t all sulfur produced after desulfurization through the Claus process?
There is no essential difference, or there are still some differences
After natural desulfurization and desulfurization of refinery dry gas, the hydrogen sulfide concentration in the regenerated acidic gas varies; generally, the concentration is lower in the former case. When selecting a sulfur production process using the Claus method, different processes are chosen depending on the varying hydrogen sulfide concentrations in the acidic gas.
