As the title suggests, I would like to ask the experts: Before the acid production process, the processes of acidic gas stripping and amine solution regeneration are similar to the Claus sulfur production process. During the reaction that takes place after the acidic gas enters the reactor, under normal operating conditions, could sulfur be produced? No, entering the reactor involves peroxide combustion. Conventional Claus is oxygen-deficient combustion.
Isn’t it certain that no sulfur will be produced when hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide are present together? I’m very skeptical about this:o
