I would like to ask fellow sailors: does acidic water have a pH value that indicates acidity or alkalinity?

Coking, hydrogenation, catalysis, atmospheric and vacuum distillation. Is the pH of the acidic water from these external units such as the stripping receiver acidic or alkaline? I hope fellow sailors can provide answers.
Acidic, because it contains hydrogen sulfide. However, if an excessive amount of ammonia is added during pre-treatment, it may cause acidic water to become alkaline, which is an abnormal condition.
Due to ammonia injection upstream, the acidic water becomes slightly alkaline
The water I receive is acidic with a pH of around 10; could it be that too much ammonia was added upstream?
Since the acidic water used as a raw material contains hydrogen sulfide as well as ammonia, it generally exists in the form of NH4HS, which is alkaline.
Simply put, more sulfur gives it acidity, while more amines give it basicity. :lol
