Inlet and outlet of the hydrogenation reactor: hydrogen content, total sulfur content. Outlet of the quench tower and absorption tower: hydrogen content, total sulfur content. Sulfur: purity. The sulfur recovery flue gas from stripping regeneration requires testing for hydrogen sulfide and ammonia levels. These two indicators directly affect the air distribution in the sulfur recovery furnace and the control of the furnace temperature
May I ask, how is ammonia measured, and what methods are used? Since ammonia in the process gas is highly soluble in water, the laboratory technicians reported that it was impossible to detect ammonia; please specify what method should be used

It’s not liquid ammonia; it’s the ammonia content in acidic gases!
Testing generally involves chemical analysis after absorption.
