Our company uses single-tower high-pressure side-line extraction; part of the ammonia gas separated out has to be sent to a combustion furnace for burning. Now, the ammonia pipeline leading to the combustion furnace does not go directly into the furnace; instead, it merges with the pipelines coming from the acidic gas separation tank before entering the combustion furnace together. As the ammonia is introduced for a longer period of time, the pressure inside the acidic gas separation tank increases. Is this because ammonia pushes the acidic gas back? Also, the pressure in the acidic gas separation tank rises more rapidly at night than during the day. Why is that? I ask for the guidance of all teachers!
When ammonia is mixed with acidic gases, ammonium salts are formed before sulfurization. What is the temperature of your acidic gas in the sulfur production furnace?
