In accordance with GB31570 requirements, flares are not allowed to be used for emission, and you need to have two sets of sulfur treatment systems; it would be best if these two sets can operate without shutting down at the same time. Modern technologies such as ammonia-based desulfurization, sodium-based desulfurization, and complexed iron can all enable a single unit to operate without the need for a flare – of course, this is possible only if the facility is modified accordingly.
