Selection of regeneration and stripping reflux pumps for sulfur units

For the small vortex pumps used in our company, the bearing housings are lubricated with butter, and the seal bearings break down frequently. Could it be that there is an issue with the pump selection? What kind of pumps does your company use?
We use magnetic pumps that do not have mechanical seals; if the backflow rate is too low, a return line (minimum backflow line) can be added to maintain the pump’s normal operating load.
Can adding a minimum flow line increase the backflow volume?
