In our purification process, we utilize the rectisolve process. Over time, as the system operates, the ammonia content in the lean methanol increases. By increasing the ammonia content in the acid gas, could this have an impact on the combustion process in the Claus sulfur recovery system? Can it meet current environmental emission requirements?
As described in other papers, the ammonia firing temperature should be raised to 1350°C.
I wonder how the actual operating effect will be? And in terms of the processing technology, is it necessary to make any modifications?
In case of ammonia accumulation, check what’s wrong with the upstream scrubber. Appropriately add fresh methanol; dispose of old methanol to the wastewater treatment system as needed.
