The inlet filter of the screw compressor used in gas tanks often gets clogged – how to solve this effectively!
The effective solution lies in the impurity content of the materials; removing it at the source is the best approach. I’m not sure what type of project your production process belongs to; there should be a dust removal system in front of the air intake cabinet. The issue could be caused by a damaged dust removal system, or by high levels of dust in the raw materials used in production. It is recommended to address the issue by coordinating at the source.
The same problem occurs with us as well: hydrogen sulfide is reduced to sulfur powder, which accumulates in lumps and blocks the inlet of the press. We try not to use it in winter; instead, we rely on reciprocating machines. It’s still necessary to install larger filters at the inlet – filters that can remove both impurities and water.
