Currently, for the acidic water stripping, the temperature is 142 for stage one and 120 for stage two, which is a bit high. At the beginning of operation, both temperatures could be kept at 130 and 90, but now they cannot be controlled. What are the reasons for this? How can the operation be improved to bring these two temperatures under control?
1. The amount of material drawn from the side stream is too high; check whether the tower pressure and temperature are normal, and also verify whether the ammonia nitrogen content in the acidic water fed into the tower is too high. If the temperature of the side stream cannot be reduced, it may lead to a dead loop. Check whether the output of liquid ammonia has decreased or if no liquid ammonia is being produced at all. Increase the temperature of the ammonia purification tower slightly, and try to keep the liquid level stable. 2.
