Could the teachers please consider injecting an appropriate amount of alkali continuously into the sulfur quench tower to maintain a pH level of 9-11, in order to reduce the load on the absorption tower? The slight bends between the raw material tanks are designed to keep the oil and impurities in the water within one tank, preventing them from reaching the next tank and entering the tower. The temperature for aminoacid-containing gases should be above 85 degrees, right?
First question: The annual load on my sulfur treatment system is not very high; I adjust the pH value by injecting condensed water, and there is also a line for injecting alkali, but it has not been used yet. However, I think that maintaining a too high pH value by adding alkali can reduce the load on the exhaust gas absorption tower, but it also results in an excessive amount of sodium sulfide salts entering the stripping unit, which may degrade the quality of the purified water. Second question: The pipe between the two tanks should be called an inverted U-tube. It utilizes the principle of a communicating vessel to keep the level in tank A equal to or above the highest point of the inverted U-tube, thereby ensuring a constant liquid level in tank A and thus maintaining the level in the skimming tank. Siphoning is harmful to the tank levels; if siphoning occurs, the liquid level in tank A will drop sharply and flow over into tank B. To prevent siphoning, the pipeline at the top of the inverted U-shaped tube must be opened to allow pressure release, thereby preventing siphoning. The siphon prevention pipe must remain unobstructed to avoid the occurrence of siphoning. Third question: The empirical temperature should be above 80°C, with 85°C being the ideal value.
First question: If the pH control for adding alkali to the exhaust gas absorption tower is set too high, an excessive amount of sodium sulfide salts will enter the stripping unit, which will degrade the quality of the purified water, primarily due to sulfides and ammonia nitrogen. But it doesn’t work for acidic water stripping, as this will result in the purified water not meeting the required standards. 2. Personally, I recommend that the angle at the top of the tower be over 85 degrees
