The acidic water from the atmospheric and vacuum distillation units of our company contains silicon ions. Once it enters the stripping tower, it goes along with the acidic water into the reactor, where it causes scaling as a result of combustion, thereby affecting normal production. Does anyone have any good solutions for this issue?

Why does the acidic water from your plant need to go into the reaction furnace? The valuable components in sulfur recovery are present in the acidic gas obtained through stripping; what kind of strange approach is it to spray the stripped acidic water into the reaction furnace? It is possible for the acidic water from atmospheric and vacuum distillation to contain organosilicon compounds, as small amounts of silicon-containing additives (such as defoamers and surfactants) may be used during crude oil extraction and during the desalination and dewatering of crude oil; the volatile components resulting from the decomposition of these additives can end up in the acidic water.

You’re right in your analysis; it’s due to crude oil, but I don’t know how to deal with it
