Glacial acetic acid has a melting point of 16.7°C; in winter, to prevent freezing inside the storage tanks, heaters must be installed in 1000-cubic-meter tanks. Between the two options, installing a steam coil or using an external heater, which is better?
No applause? Fixed-roof storage tanks come in specifications with heaters, while internal floating-roof tanks do not. If an internal floating roof tank is chosen, can the former approach be applied?
We use electric heat tracing for heating, and the results are quite good

With such a large tank, it must have internal heating coils to ensure even heating through steam or hot water/hot oil, resulting in good performance. The drawback is that the temperature is difficult to control; the key is for the factory to have such a heat source available. If there is no heat source, external electric heating can be considered; it consumes a lot of electricity and its effectiveness is average.
Steam from the existing storage tank is used for external heating.
If it is for a long-term use, coil heaters are still appropriate; if it is temporary, electric heat tracing tubes will suffice
