Whether to implement separate systems for rainwater and sewage disposal is a decision left to the company itself. So why do environmental protection agencies now require companies to do so?

Separating rainwater from wastewater facilitates the collection and utilization of rainwater as well as the centralized management of wastewater discharge, reducing the impact of water volume on wastewater treatment plants and ensuring their processing efficiency. Industrial and domestic wastewater contains various complex substances such as COD, nitrogen, and phosphorus, and must be treated in wastewater treatment plants before it can be discharged in compliance with standards.
