According to China Petroleum Network (reporter: Elena; correspondent: Yu Yang), on November 26, the reporter learned from the Daqing Oilfield that the \"Three-Innovation Management Model for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in the old oil extraction plants of the Daqing Oilfield\" submitted by this oilfield was selected as a \"Typical Case of Comprehensive Green Transformation in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry for 2025\". In September, upon receiving the notice to submit case studies, the New Energy Division of Daqing Oilfield actively organized the preparation of such cases, systematically summarizing the energy-saving and carbon-reduction efforts undertaken since 2024. To address the challenges associated with oil production in periods of high water content, the Third Oil Production Plant adopted an innovative management approach that was \"intelligent, targeted, and systematic.\" By establishing an energy consumption monitoring platform, it became possible to monitor energy efficiency in real time and to carry out intelligent diagnostics and control of equipment. High-energy-consuming wells and equipment were managed using tailored strategies for each individual case, while at the same time, efforts were made to optimize the balance between injection and production. To date, the energy savings achieved amount to 22,000 tons of standard coal; total energy consumption has decreased by 4.05%, carbon emissions have been reduced by over 46,000 tons, and costs have been saved by nearly 44 million yuan. This case solicitation was organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, with the aim of accelerating the establishment of a green, low-carbon, circular economic system in the petroleum and chemical industry, and promoting the high-end, green, and intelligent development of the entire sector. In total, 30 model cases were selected, covering engineering services, technological upgrades, and management innovation, to showcase the industry’s practices in green and sustainable development.
