I would like to ask: in the ITP quality inspection form for the Quality Management I process, who are the participants involved? In other words, does the ISO standard specify which parties (the owner, the contractor, and the constructor) must be present to witness and sign the quality inspection process? Thank you!

Thank you for the reply. But what I’m asking is which ISO standard contains similar requirements. The problem at the moment is that the owners believe that all quality inspection forms should be signed by the construction party and the general contractor, as they have nothing to do with it. Because the contract indeed does not specify this clearly, and there is another quality system in place locally. To complete the mechanical work, we must have these inspection forms signed by the owner; otherwise, it makes no sense. So I’m looking for some regulations to prove that, even though the contract doesn’t specify it, he is still required to sign according to those regulations.

May I ask how this was resolved in the end? The completion of the mechanical work requires the owner’s signature, but they don’t take care of this aspect; isn’t that contradictory? In the end, without the mechanical work being completed, it’s not possible to proceed with testing. Logically, the owner should be anxious about this, yet since they don’t pay attention to this ITP, shouldn’t you be able to complete the mechanical work directly?
