Hello, everyone who enjoys the sea! Operating requirements: The density of the liquid stored in the tank is 1.1, and it is necessary to remove water from the liquid. From what I’ve found, this seems to be difficult to achieve. I was wondering if it would be possible to carry out separation before the liquid enters the tank – by adding a buffer tank before it, equipped with an overflow pipeline at the top and a device similar to a water separator for oil tanks at the bottom, so as to enable automatic water separation. As long as this liquid is water-repellent, it will work; it’s best to have an observation hole.
It’s possible. I’ve heard that in some systems, an automatic dehydration valve is installed at the bottom of the feed buffer tank’s dehydration pack. However, to prevent oil loss and waste, some water cannot be removed entirely. I haven’t asked which suppliers use this approach, so I’m not entirely sure
