GB50341 Non-destructive testing of storage tank welds

In GB50341, it is stated that \"going forward, the number of welders is not taken into account; for each plate thickness, radiographic inspection should be carried out on a 300mm section taken from any location within every 30 meters of weld length and the remaining portion.\" What does \"the remaining portion\" refer to? Does it mean the part of the weld length that exceeds 30 meters? Does it mean that any value exceeding 30 meters but still below 30 meters is considered a fractional value? Also, for a weld of a certain thickness over a length of 31 meters, should 300 mm be taken for inspection within 30 meters, and another 300 mm taken for inspection within the remaining 1 meter? I understand that the number of tests is calculated by dividing the length by 30 and taking the integer part, plus 1 if the remainder is 1; the specific area can be chosen arbitrarily. Weld length of 31 meters, number of inspections: 2, location to be selected arbitrarily.
