Are there any standards or documents governing the routine maintenance after delivery?

I’ve encountered many projects where, after delivery, the owners refused to carry out proper daily maintenance; they didn’t perform regular inspections of the equipment or top it up with fuel as needed, and would turn to the general contractor whenever the equipment stopped working. Is there any relevant specification stating that daily maintenance after delivery falls under the responsibility of the owner? Thank you!
It’s precisely because the contract doesn’t specify things in such detail that there are disputes.
Is the general contractor responsible for ensuring transportation? If there is a responsibility for ensuring proper maintenance, then help with it; once the project is completed, the owner will take care of it themselves. But why are the owners so incompetent? There are indeed some property owners who come from other fields, know nothing about the matter, and shift all the responsibility onto the contractors. So, the contract is still important; the harder it is to negotiate the contract, the clearer the execution process will be.
