Sure, there’s no need to install one for gases that don’t contain water!
A water seal tank must be installed even when there is no liquid.
None of the current torches are without a liquid separation tank; it has been explicitly required that such tanks must be installed. As for water seal tanks, in the case of acidic or ammonia-based environments, flame arresters are generally used
They should all be installed, you never know when gas might contain liquid
Why is this question being asked?
In addition to separating droplets, the water seal tank also serves as a safety isolation mechanism; therefore, it must be installed in accordance with relevant specifications.
