How should the scope of authorization for hazardous materials transport tankers be determined?

On the road transport permits for vehicles used to transport corrosive chemicals in the past, the scope of operations was indicated as merely “Transport of Category 8 hazardous goods”; it was sufficient to check whether cleaning had been carried out properly during filling, replace the tank truck’s markings, and then the vehicle could be used to fill different substances within the same category. Now, after some transport vehicles have had their licenses updated, the scope of business specified on their road transport licenses includes specific chemicals listed after category 8. I’m not sure if other chemicals of the same category can still be transported? The regulations are so confusing that I couldn’t find the exact clause. Someone who understands could help and give some hints. Thank you first!
It depends on what the product is; for example, sulfuric acid is both a hazardous chemical and a substance classified as a Category II drug that can be easily used to manufacture drugs, so a road transport safety permit issued by the public security authorities is required
I was wondering, if it’s a tank truck carrying sulfuric acid, is there any marking on the truck indicating that it contains sulfuric acid? Can it carry hydrochloric acid or caustic soda? Because sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and caustic soda all belong to Category 8 chemicals (JTT 617.2 Rules for the Road Transport of Dangerous Goods, Part 2: Classification)

Most people believe that as long as they belong to the same category, they can carry different products after passing the cleaning process
Different items require reporting to the safety supervision department when being transported, as different handling methods are needed for various materials in case of transportation issues. Acids and bases are different; hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid are not the same.
Mixing them together certainly won’t work. Is it okay after cleaning it?

For short-distance transportation, there is of course no problem as long as the inspection at the recipient’s location is successful. Once there are problems during transportation, if the vehicle is not used for its intended purpose and its use is altered, the responsible persons must be held accountable.
