Design for nitrogen production by pressure swing adsorption

Guys, is there a specific diameter-to-height ratio requirement for nitrogen production using pressure swing adsorption? I heard that for 99.9% purity, a ratio of 1:2 is required, while for higher purity levels, a ratio of 1:2.4 is needed. However, I saw in another design document that there are also requirements regarding the flow rate through the empty tower; based on a flow rate of 0.045 m/s, the diameter would have to be too large, which again doesn’t meet the diameter-to-height ratio requirement. I just started in this field and no one has taught me. Is there anyone who knows about this? Are there any relevant books? Thank you everyone!
When the diameter is too large, considering multiple devices connected in parallel is an option
