A fiberglass cooling tower is a device that utilizes the contact between water and air, through evaporation, to dissipate the waste heat generated in industrial processes or in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The basic principle is that dry (low enthalpy) air, driven by a fan, enters the cooling tower through the air intake screen ; High-temperature water molecules with a high saturated vapor partial pressure flow toward the air at lower pressure, and the humid and hot (high enthalpy) water is sprayed into the tower from a water distribution system. When water droplets come into contact with air, evaporation occurs due, on the one hand, to direct heat transfer between the air and the water droplets, and on the other hand, due to the pressure difference between the surface of the water vapor and the air. This pressure difference drives the evaporation process; the latent heat of vaporization is released in this process, taking away heat from the water through evaporation-based heat transfer, thereby achieving a cooling effect. Fiberglass cooling towers are classified by shape into circular counterflow cooling towers, square crossflow cooling towers, and square counterflow cooling towers. For various types of cooling towers, the most cost-effective model is selected based on the site constraints and specific requirements of the customer’s location.
