What range is the feed temperature to the depropanization tower maintained at? Increase the feed temperature to reduce the steam consumption of the bottom reboiler.
1. Our current feed temperature is 60---65
How to improve? What heat source to use? It can reduce pressure and the reflux ratio
I mean increasing the feed temperature (hot feeding) to reduce steam consumption, changing it from a saturated state to a superheated state
First, exchange heat with propane vapor, then heat with hot water or steam
Hot feeding increases the complexity in the distillation section; although it reduces the complexity in the stripping section, it depends on whether the distillation section can meet the requirements and whether the overhead cooling system is sufficient. Calculate the overall energy consumption to see if the energy required for heating the feed has decreased, and whether the plant can ensure the product meets quality standards.
