Currently, magnetic self-priming pumps are being used, but they break down frequently, which prevents the material from being pumped up. Due to the special requirements of distillation, the material needs to be washed every 2 minutes or so
I saw online that canned motor pumps and diaphragm pumps can be used; could someone with expertise give some advice?
It is recommended to communicate with the manufacturer for a solution, to investigate why the pump breaks down frequently; any alternative pumps should be provided by the equipment manufacturer. There are many issues involved here. For example, whether replacing the pump will meet the operational requirements, and who will bear the costs associated with the implementation process...... If it’s an old issue, it’s best to contact the manufacturer for technical support. If one has to resolve it on their own, they should first figure out why the pump breaks down so frequently – is the design inadequate? Selection issues? Material issues? Operation issue? ? This topic—selecting the pump type—should be addressed only after everything has been confirmed.
Tell me the operating conditions that need to be met
We also have vacuum distillation systems; please tell me the details
The best ones are side-channel pumps – they can draw up soda mixtures! But it’s expensive, and it may need to be imported!
