On our solvent regeneration design drawings, the acidic gas coming out of the top of the regeneration tower passes through air cooling and then a water cooler before entering the acidic water separation tank. I can see that on the drawings, only the pipeline carrying the acidic gas from the outlet of the water cooler to the acidic water tank is equipped with a heat tracing system; there is no heat tracing system for the section from the top of the tower to the inlet of the water cooler.
