On December 4, China Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd. issued a statement stating that the 60,000-ton polyoxymethylene project planned by its subsidiary Xinjiang Xinlianxin has been completed and is now in the trial production phase. This project is the group’s first new high-molecular chemical material project; the products produced have reached top-quality standards, meeting the expected levels in terms of technical performance and product reliability, and customer trial feedback has been positive. This marks that the company’s polyoxymethylene project has reached first-class standards in the domestic industry in terms of project planning and design, construction quality and efficiency, as well as operational performance. It is reported that this project is one of the initiatives under the company’s strategy for high-quality and efficient development. The successful completion and operation of this project will not only improve the efficiency of resource utilization at the Xinjiang facility, but it will also facilitate the expansion and upgrading of the industrial chain for basic chemical product methanol. This aligns with the company’s goal of achieving high-level conversion of resources at its Xinjiang facility, and it will contribute to an increase in the group’s revenue and profits. Constructor: Xinjiang Xinlianxin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd ； Project nature: New construction ； Total investment amount: The total investment is 1,647,480,000 yuan, of which 67,400,000 yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures, accounting for 4.09% of the total investment ； Construction location: Tahe Industrial Park, Manas County, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang; the campus of Xinjiang Xinlianxin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd ； Construction period: 26 months. Construction contents: Upon completion, the project will be capable of producing 60,000 tons per year of polyoxymethylene. It consists mainly of the main plant, utility and auxiliary facilities, storage and transportation systems, as well as environmental protection measures. The main plant includes a formaldehyde production unit using the iron-molybdenum process, a dioxolane (DoX) unit, a trioxymethylene (TOX) synthesis unit, as well as polymerization and post-treatment units. The auxiliary facilities include heat exchange stations, a central control room, and upgrades to the existing desalination station. The storage and transportation systems comprise raw material storage tanks and product warehouses. The supporting facilities include office buildings, a central laboratory, water supply systems, and air supply systems. In March 2023, the polyoxymethylene project of Xinjiang Xinlianxin Company commenced construction. On September 21, 2024, Xinjiang Xinlianxin held the handover ceremony for its 60,000 tons per year polyoxymethylene production project. This project introduces international advanced technologies to build a mid-to-high-end polyoxymethylene production line. From November 10th to 12th, Liu Xingxu, chairman of Xinlianxin Group, visited the Xinjiang base to inspect the progress of project construction and marketing transformation efforts. Xinjiang Xinlianxin Energy and Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the Manas River Industrial Park. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henan Xinlianxin Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. The company invested 2.75 billion yuan in the initial phase of its operations; it uses raw coal from the Manas Tianli and Tianxin coal mines to build a facility capable of producing 280,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 480,000 tons of urea, 100,000 tons of melamine, and 150,000 tons of compound fertilizers per year. The investment in environmental protection measures amounted to 117.721 million yuan, representing a proportion of 4.35% of the total investment. Later, optimizations and upgrades will be carried out on the basis of the 280,000 tons/year ammonia synthesis and 480,000 tons/year urea production facilities; the existing shift and methanol washing units will be modified, and a 150,000 tons/year refined methanol production line will be built.
