What causes a rapid ticking sound inside the motor of a centrifugal pump?
There’s a problem with the motor; lubricant needs to be added
Well, I suspect there’s a problem with the bearing; the coupling of this pump just broke. It was replaced, and after the electrician ran it for a while, the abnormal noise disappeared. I would also like to ask what is the typical service life of the bearings in pumps and motors?
Indeed, it got better after refueling. But I still suspect there’s a problem with the bearing.

You can use a stethoscope to listen to the sounds coming from the bearings and various parts of the machine. By determining where the sound is coming from roughly, it’s possible to figure out where the problem lies!
What will happen after it reaches the end of its useful life? Will it be necessary to increase the frequency of inspections and things like that?
Check the vibration to see if it is high, and whether the temperature has risen; if both increase, then the bearings need to be inspected.
