What are the reasons for the damage to the coupling of the centrifugal pump? Is it a misalignment or high vibration?
Check the concentricity! There are also quality issues with the materials!
It is usually caused by misalignment, as well as load issues such as overloading. There’s also the vibration problem you mentioned; if the machine vibrates, it’s necessary to check for alignment regularly or tighten the foundation bolts! Also, check whether there are any quality issues or material problems with the couplings you have chosen!
The coupling diaphragm is damaged; this has happened a few times before, always in pumps that experienced significant vibration. The same problem did not occur again after replacing it with a new one
It is usually a problem of misalignment between the motor and the equipment shaft, or it could be that the base or footings are loose, causing excessive vibration
