Our factory has a water pump; the pressure is normal and the pipelines are unobstructed. However, the computer shows that the liquid level does not drop, and visually it appears that the level drops very slowly – this is quite different from what happens with the other pump. I hope someone experienced can help analyze the reason!
Normal pressure and unobstructed pipelines indicate that there is no issue with the pump’s liquid delivery. Alternatively, by checking whether the flow is smooth at the other end where the pump dispenses liquid, one can determine the quality of the pump. So, what’s left is to check whether the liquid level display is correct? There are two other possibilities: one is whether the feed liquid for the pump is too viscous? Second, is there a problem with the impeller of the pump itself?
That shouldn’t be the case. Check if the pump has a bypass line and whether there is any backflow!
Check to see if the outlet check valve is installed backwards
Check whether there is a problem with the check valve at the outlet of the pump that is working properly; close the outlet valve of the pump that is functioning correctly. If everything is fine, then it indicates that the check valve is damaged.
Pressure is normal (what is the pressure? Is it the pump outlet pressure or the header pressure? ), the pipeline is unobstructed (how is it confirmed that the pipeline is unobstructed? Which part of the pipeline needs to be clarified? ), pump inlet filter. Inspection of outlet valves and check valves, as well as inspection of motor rotation direction.
Normal pressure and unobstructed pipelines indicate that there is no issue with the pump’s liquid delivery. Take another look – is the motor current normal?
