Our company installed an oil and vapor recovery system based on adsorption plus absorption technology from Beijing Gulf in 2013; it was put into operation in October 2015. Within less than a year, the vacuum pump’s shaft seized, resulting in a two-month shutdown. After several attempts to resolve the issue, it was decided that the original manufacturer, Korean company Kol, would come to the site for repairs, at a cost of 60,000 to 80,000 yuan. To this day, the pump continues to require frequent repairs, and it makes a lot of noise during operation. No solution has been found yet. I wonder if anyone else has encountered similar problems – which manufacturers’ vacuum pumps do you use, and how are they performing? Is there a structural diagram, or even a photo taken on site would work?
This post was last edited by 156026692 on 2018-10-8 at 14:24. Vacuum suction generally requires vacuum pumps with high pumping capacity; I’m not sure what type your company has chosen. Currently, reciprocating vacuum pumps are the most commonly used in the market.
