What kind of weird data is this? There are only 100 divisions on one full turn of a dial indicator – where do the numbers 192, 190, 188, and 189 come from? Does the dial indicator start recording readings before it returns to zero? How can there be any play when aligning? Are you sure this is the alignment data? Rather than the side clearance of the compressor piston? What does he write about the shaft and the pump casing? It’s not concentricity data either; only double-support pumps require concentricity adjustment, while cantilever pumps do not. In summary: what kind of pump is this exactly? What kind of advanced equipment is he using for alignment?
