Coking workshop, high-speed pump GSB-W4A-7.5/210; manufacturer: Beijing Aerospace Petrochemical Technology & Equipment Engineering Company. After the seal was replaced, oil leakage occurred, and the oil sealing pressure varied. The medium seal and the oil seal share the same rotating ring. This pump is equipped with an accumulator as well as an oil cooling system

I’m familiar with this structure: the sleeve presses against the rotating ring, and it’s secured by the impeller. I’ve encountered leakage issues with this type of mechanical seal on many occasions. I’m not sure if you have checked the compression amount again. Another possibility is that uneven torque was applied when tightening the seal cover, which caused the cover to deform and resulted in poor parallelism between the stationary ring surface and the rotating ring surface
One after another; if it’s a servo, it needs to be tightened every few minutes
Has the compression amount not been adjusted properly? Generally, there are torque requirements for the impeller locking nut.
The compression amount can’t be adjusted, right? The seal for the rotating ring seat is made of a rubber ring
The compression amounts of the two friction pairs are not properly distributed. The two sets of friction pairs share one moving ring that is enclosed within a sealed chamber; the sum of their compression amounts remains constant. If this value is not measured accurately, the moving ring will be displaced axially, which will inevitably result in one friction pair having a greater compression amount and the other having a smaller one. As a consequence, one of the friction pair’s end surfaces will wear out more quickly, while the other will experience leakage
It can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the gland gasket, but the gasket thickness should not be too great to avoid deformation or misalignment
It’s all complete sets of gaskets provided by the manufacturer; there are no gaskets available separately
I feel like the pressure is uneven; the force applied isn’t consistent – it gets tight at times and loose at other times, which is why the pressure varies so much
