Are you using one with double sides? For double-ended surfaces, it is only said that frost forms on tanks with diameter 52; the situation you described does not occur. A single-end face can occur because, when transporting light hydrocarbons, the liquid film between the sealing surfaces is unstable; vaporization may take place during rotation, which can easily lead to leaks.

How can 11+53B result in the situation you mentioned? Even if the main seal fails, it’s still the sealing fluid that enters the pump chamber. Even if there is insufficient pressure in 53B, it will only result in the medium entering the 53B system. This situation you mentioned won’t happen either. If it’s a leak from the end cover, shaft sleeve gasket, or O-ring, it should be a continuous leak
