Common faults of metal rotameters 1: Oscillation (mild, moderate, severe); Solution: For slight vibration, increase the dampers; for moderate vibration, add voltage or flow stabilization devices; in cases of severe vibration, it is usually due to the rotor flow meter purchased not being suitable for the operating conditions, i.e., an incorrect selection was made ; 2. The pointer remains fixed at a certain position ; Solution: Generally, it is caused by the float getting stuck, or by the valve being opened too quickly when using the instrument; it could also be due to the device being installed at an angle, either vertically or horizontally ; 3. Large measurement error ; Reason: Lack of installation requirements, large variations in the density of liquid media, significant effects of temperature and pressure changes on gas media, looseness of the moving parts such as the sensor magnets, pointers, weights, and selection magnets due to lack of maintenance over time or pipe vibrations ; 4. No current output ; Check whether the wiring is correct and whether the LCD displays anything; if it displays but there is no output, it is likely that the output transistor is damaged – replace the circuit board ; 5. No on-site display ; Check whether the wiring is correct, verify that the power supply is proper, and reinstall the LCD module ; 6. The on-site LCD display shows 0 or the full scale value ; Check the set range and zero-point parameters in the password. It is required that ZERO be less than the value of SPAN; the two values cannot be equal ; Check whether the sampling data is being received; tap the indicator needle to observe any changes in the sampling values. If there are no changes, it is usually a fault in the circuit board’s sampling circuit, and the circuit board needs to be replaced ;
