Are these two the same thing? I’m not sure; it seems to me like they are the same.
A differential pressure transmitter used for level measurement can be called a level transmitter; it is the same device. When used for flow measurement, it is called a flow transmitter, and it is no longer the same device.
The level transmitter can be a differential pressure transmitter, using the formula H=P/ρ*9.81. The liquid level can then be indicated. The difference between the pressure before and after the filter is the differential pressure. It then ceases to function as a level transmitter. There are level transmitters with magnetic flip plates; these have nothing to do with differential pressure transmitters.
Thank you for the explanation. In our 52 system, some accessories come with differential pressure transmitters while others come with level transmitters, which is a bit confusing. I searched on Baidu and found designs that look very similar, but the level transmitters have an extra long cable connected to them. I understand now.
