The fluid handled by our pumps is viscous, particle-containing refinery sediment that is also uneven in consistency. Customers report that the flow rate delivered is unstable. What solutions do we have to control the flow rate at the pump outlet and ensure a stable output?
What type of pump is it? Such as twin-screw, single-screw, centrifugal pumps, and so on
Rotor pumps also discharge liquid intermittently, so the flow rate fluctuates more than that of centrifugal pumps, but it can be considered approximately uniform. Is there a safety valve on the pipeline? If the safety valve is not set correctly, or if it remains open due to foreign objects, it is necessary to adjust its setting pressure or clean the valve. Medium inhomogeneity can affect suction, leading to flow fluctuations.
To stabilize the liquid level in the sludge tank, if the inflow is unstable, the outflow certainly cannot be stable.
