The slurry material (with a solid content of less than 5 wt%) needs to be pressurized to 20–30 MPa before feeding. Which type of pump is more suitable for use in small as well as large-scale installations? Also, are there any pumps that can be used for feeding liquid-solid mixtures at 200–300°C with a solid content of less than 5 wt.-%?
If solids are present, centrifugal pumps are generally not a viable option. Moreover, the required pressure is quite high; a screw pump would be an appropriate choice (I haven’t worked with them before, but they should work). For media at 200–300°C, it’s also possible to implement a suitable flushing scheme
I guess a piston pump might be the better choice; I don’t know much about positive displacement pumps
Reciprocating pumps should be able to do it, but the temperature needs to be a bit higher; you can consult the manufacturer for details
With such high pressure, it is difficult for screw pumps to achieve it if the viscosity of the material is low; consult the plunger pump manufacturers
I don’t know what the traffic volume is! You can refer to slurry pumps (plunger pumps), whose operating conditions are even more severe than yours.

What’s the traffic volume? If the flow rate is not high, it is recommended to use a reciprocating pump.

The flow rate is not high, ranging from 10 mL to 200 mL/min – won’t the reciprocating pump get clogged? Have you used it before, or do you have any information on the manufacturers involved?
